Spain's first private international airport has gone for sale under the hammer on Monday with a price starting at just 100 million euros. It is the one-tenth the cost of construction. Europe's longest runway had cost $1.4 billion to build it. A vast terminal building in it has the enough space to handle as many as 10 million travelers per year. However, it is really unfortunate that Aeropuerto Central Ciudad Real has not seen a single commercial flight since 2011.
