An aircraft carrying Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy was forced to return and make an emergency landing at Dublin Airport this afternoon after a warning light turned on, said officials. The plane, Falcon 900, departed from the runway at 3:30 pm.
The flight from Dublin to Madrid returned to the Irish capital shortly after the takeoff as a precautionary measure, said a spokeswoman for the Spanish government. She said that after the plane was checked and given all clear, Rajoy resumed his trip to Madrid.
